മസ്‌കറ്റ്: ഒമാനിലെ ദുഖ്മ് സ്‌പേസ്‌പോർട്ട് രണ്ടാമത്തെ വിജയകരമായ റോക്കറ്റ് വിക്ഷേപണം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. 'കാർമാൻ എക്‌സ്1' (Karman X1) മിഷന്റെ ഭാഗമായി 'ആസാദ് ഡ്രീമർ' റോക്കറ്റ് നിയന്ത്രിത പരീക്ഷണ പറക്കലാണ് നടത്തിയത്.
4.3 മീറ്റർ നീളവും 26 കിലോഗ്രാം ഭാരവുമുള്ള ഈ റോക്കറ്റ്, പറക്കലിനിടയിലെ വിവരങ്ങൾ മിഷൻ കൺട്രോൾ സെന്ററിലേക്ക് വിജയകരമായി കൈമാറി. ബഹിരാകാശത്ത് എത്തുന്നതിനേക്കാൾ ഉപരിയായി വിക്ഷേപണ നടപടിക്രമങ്ങൾ, ഫ്‌ലൈറ്റ് പെർഫോമൻസ്, ഓൺബോർഡ് സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യകൾ, സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ വിലയിരുത്താനാണ് ഈ പരീക്ഷണം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടത്.
2024 ഡിസംബറിലെ ദുഖ്മ്-1 മിഷന് ശേഷമുള്ളതാണ് ഈ വിക്ഷേപണം. സബ് ഓർബിറ്റൽ, പരീക്ഷണാത്മക റോക്കറ്റ് വിക്ഷേപണങ്ങളെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്നതിനായി അതേ വർഷം ആരംഭിച്ച 'ഫോർമേഷൻ' പ്രോഗ്രാമിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണിത്.
