തിരുനാവായ: യു.ഡി.എഫ്. സർക്കാർ പവർകട്ട് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയതിൽ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച് സി.പി.ഐ. ആതവനാട് ലോക്കൽ കമ്മിറ്റി പുത്തനത്താണി കെ.എസ്.ഇ.ബി. ഓഫീസിലേക്ക് മാർച്ച് നടത്തി. സി.പി.ഐ. തിരൂർ മണ്ഡലം സെക്രട്ടറി ടി.ജെ. രാജേഷ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ലോക്കൽ കമ്മിറ്റി മെമ്പർ കരീം വെട്ടിച്ചിറ അധ്യക്ഷനായി. മണ്ഡലം അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി അബ്ദുൽ ഖാദർ കുന്നത്ത്, ആതവനാട് ലോക്കൽ കമ്മിറ്റി സെക്രട്ടറി ജയശങ്കർ ആളൂർ, കെ.പി. സുകുമാരൻ, വിനോദ് ചേലൂർ, അഷറഫ് മായ്യേരി, പി. ഗംഗാധരൻ, സി.കെ. അഭിലാഷ്, മുളക്കത്തൊടി മുരളി, എ.വി. സുന്ദരൻ, പി. ശ്രീഹരി, കെ.പി. ബിനേഷ് എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
സി.പി.ഐ. തിരുനാവായ ലോക്കൽ കമ്മിറ്റി തിരുനാവായ കെ.എസ്.ഇ.ബി. ഓഫീസിനു മുൻപിൽ പ്രതിഷേധസമരം നടത്തി. ലോക്കൽ കമ്മിറ്റി സെക്രട്ടറി ഷാഫി പൂഴിത്തറ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.
