എ.ടി.എം കൗണ്ടറിനുള്ളിലേക്ക് കുതിച്ചെത്തിയ കാട്ടുപന്നിയില്‍ നിന്ന് പണമെടുക്കാന്‍ നിന്നയാള്‍ അത്ഭുതകരമായി രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. തിങ്കളാഴ്ച രാവിലെ എരുമേലി ബസ് സ്റ്റാന്‍ഡിന് സമീപം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന എസ്.ഐ.ബി.യുടെ എ.ടി.എം കൗണ്ടറിലാണ് സംഭവം. മുക്കുട സ്വദേശി ഗോപാലന്‍ എ.ടി.എമ്മില്‍ നിന്ന് പണം പിന്‍വലിക്കുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് കാട്ടുപന്നി കൗണ്ടറിലേക്ക് ഓടിക്കയറിയത്. വലിയ ഗ്ലാസ്സ് വാതില്‍ തകര്‍ത്ത് പന്നി അകത്ത് പ്രവേശിച്ചതോടെ ഭയന്നുപോയ ഗോപാലന്‍ പുറത്തേക്ക് ഓടി രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. പൊട്ടിയ ഗ്ലാസ് കാലില്‍ കൊണ്ട് ഗോപാലന് പരിക്കേറ്റു. ഗ്ലാസ് ഡോര്‍ പൊട്ടി തലയില്‍ വീഴാതിരുന്നതു മൂലം വന്‍ അത്യാഹിതം ഒഴിവായി. ഗോപാലന്‍ പിന്നീട് അടുത്തുള്ള സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സ തേടി.

In Short | A man had a miraculous escape from a wild boar that charged into an ATM counter. The incident happened on Monday morning at an SIB ATM near the Erumely bus stand. A man was withdrawing cash when the wild boar broke through the large glass door and entered the ATM. Startled, He ran out to safety but sustained injuries from broken glass on his leg. Thankfully, the glass door didn't fall on his head, averting a major accident. Gopalan later sought treatment at a nearby private hospital.
