ന്യൂഡല്ഹി: അടുത്തമാസം സൈപ്രസില് നടക്കുന്ന ഷൂട്ടിങ് ലോകകപ്പില്നിന്ന് ഇന്ത്യ പിന്മാറി. കൊറോണ വൈറസ് ഭീഷണിയെ തുടര്ന്നാണിത്. കേന്ദ്രസര്ക്കാരിന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തെ തുടര്ന്നാണ് തീരുമാനമെന്ന് നാഷണല് റൈഫിള് അസോസിയേഷന് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ അറിയിച്ചു.
അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ഷൂട്ടിങ് സ്പോര്ട് ഫെഡറേഷന്റെ അംഗീകാരമുള്ള ചാമ്പ്യന്ഷിപ്പ് മാര്ച്ച് നാലുമുതല് 13 വരെ നിക്കോസിയയിലാണ് നടക്കുന്നത്. സൈപ്രസില് ഇതുവരെ രോഗം റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. എന്നാല്, കുറെപേര് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുണ്ട്.
ഷൂട്ടിങ് ലോകകപ്പിന് മാര്ച്ച് 16 മുതല് ന്യൂഡല്ഹി ആതിഥേയത്വം വഹിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്, വൈറസ് വ്യാപനംമൂലം ഇതില് എത്ര രാജ്യങ്ങള് പങ്കെടുക്കുമെന്ന് വ്യക്തതയില്ല.
