മുംബൈ: ഈ മാസം ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ട്വന്റി 20 ലോകകപ്പില് ഇന്ത്യ പുതിയ ജഴ്സിയില് കളിക്കും. പുതിയ ജഴ്സി ബുധനാഴ്ച്ച പുറത്തിറക്കുമെന്ന് ബി.സി.സി.ഐ അറിയിച്ചു. 17 നാണ് ലോകകപ്പ് ആരംഭിക്കുക.
എം.പി.എല് സ്പോര്ട്സാണ് ഇന്ത്യന് ജഴ്സിയുടെ സ്പോണ്സര്. നിലവില് ഇന്ത്യ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ജഴ്സി കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്ഷം നവംബറിലാണ് പുറത്തിറക്കിയത്. എം.പി.എല് തന്നെയായിരുന്നു ഈ ജഴ്സിയും ഒരുക്കിയത്. 1992-ല് ഇന്ത്യ അണിഞ്ഞ ജഴ്സിയോട് സാദൃശ്യം പുലര്ത്തുന്നതായിരുന്നു ഇത്. ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയ്ക്കെതിരായ പരമ്പരയിലാണ് ഇന്ത്യന് ടീം ആദ്യമായി ഈ ജഴ്സി അണിഞ്ഞത്.
ഒക്ടോബര് 18 ന് ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിനെതിരായ പരിശീലന മത്സരത്തില് ഇന്ത്യ പുതിയ ജഴ്സിയണിഞ്ഞ് കളിക്കും. ലോകകപ്പില് പാകിസ്താനെതിരെയാണ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആദ്യ മത്സരം. ഒക്ടോബര് 24 നാണ് ഈ മത്സരം.
