
ന്യൂഡൽഹി: ഡൽഹിയിൽ ഇലക്ഷൻ കമ്മിഷൻ ആസ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് നടത്തിയ മാർച്ചിനും പ്രതിഷേധത്തിനുമൊടുവിൽ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത ലോക്സഭാ പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധിയെയും പ്രിയങ്ക ഗാന്ധിയെയും പോലീസ് വിട്ടയച്ചു. കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത് രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂറിനു ശേഷമാണ് ഇരുവരെയും വിട്ടയച്ചത്. ഇവർക്കൊപ്പം കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത മുഴുവൻ നേതാക്കളെയും പോലീസ് വിട്ടയച്ചു.
രാവിലെ ആരംഭിച്ച മാർച്ച് സംഘർഷങ്ങൾക്കും പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങൾക്കുമൊടുവിൽ ആകാശവാണി ഭവനിൽ കുത്തിയിരിപ്പ് സമരമായി മാറിയിരുന്നു. ആകാശവാണി ഭവനിൽനിന്ന് രാഹുലിനെയും പ്രിയങ്കയെയും കെ.സി. വേണുഗോപാലടക്കമുള്ള മറ്റു നേതാക്കളെയും രാത്രി 7:45 ഓടെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
ഒമ്പതുമണിക്കൂറോളമാണ് രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധി ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ളവർ ആകാശവാണി ഭവന് മുന്നിലെ ആൽമരത്തിന് കീഴിൽ കുത്തിയിരുന്ന് പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചത്. അതിനാടകീയമായ രംഗങ്ങൾക്കൊടുവിലാണ് ഇവരെ പോലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തത്.
കോൺഗ്രസ് പ്രവർത്തകരേയും എം.പിമാരേയുമാണ് ആദ്യം പോലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത് നീക്കിയത്. തുടർന്ന് രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധി ഉൾപ്പെടെ പ്രതിഷേധിക്കുന്ന നേതാക്കൾക്ക് ചുറ്റും പോലീസ് വലയം തീർത്തു. ഈ സമയം മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരെ ഉൾപ്പെടെ ഇവിടെനിന്ന് മാറ്റിയിരുന്നു. അതിനാൽ തന്നെ രാഹുൽ ഗാന്ധിയേയും മറ്റ് നേതാക്കളേയും കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുക്കുന്ന ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തിൽ പുറത്തുവന്നിരുന്നില്ല. കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത ഇരുവരെയും കിങ്സ് വേ ക്യാംപിലേക്കായിരുന്നു മാറ്റിയത്. ഭരണഘടന ഉയർത്തിക്കാട്ടിയാണ് രാഹുൽ പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങിയത്.
