കോഴിക്കോട്: ലോക കാന്സര് ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് വിമന്സ് ഡെന്റല് കൗണ്സില്, ഇന്ത്യന് ഡെന്റല് അസോസിയേഷന് മലബാര് ചാപ്റ്റര്, സ്റ്റാര്കെയര് ഹോസ്പിറ്റല് സംയുക്തമായി വനിതാ കാന്സര് ബോധവത്കരണ ക്യാംപ് നടത്തി. സ്റ്റാര്കെയര് ഹോസ്പിറ്റല് എം ഡിയും ചെയര്മാനുമായ ഡോ. അബ്ദുല്ല ചെറയക്കാട്ട് ക്യാംപ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു.
ഹോസ്പിറ്റല് സി ഇ ഒ സത്യ, ഡോ. രാധിക മനോജ്, സീനിയര് കണ്സല്ട്ടന്റ് ഗൈനക്കോളജിസ്റ്റും ബ്രെസ്റ്റ്കാന്സര് സര്ജനുമായ ഡോ. ഹഫ്സ, തുടങ്ങിയവര് സംസാരിച്ചു. ക്യാംപില് പാപ്സ്മിയര്, ബ്രസ്റ്റ് സ്ക്രീനിംഗ് തുടങ്ങിയവയും മറ്റു രക്തപരിശോധനകളും നടത്തി. വനിതാ ദന്തവിദഗ്ധരുടെയും വനിതകളുടെയും ഉന്നമനം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന സംഘടനയാണ് വിമന്സ് ഡന്റല് കൗണ്സില്.
