ഗുരുവായൂർ ക്ഷേത്രനട ഞായറാഴ്ച്ച 334 വിവാഹങ്ങൾക്ക് സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിച്ചു. ഗുരുവായൂരിൻ്റെ ചരിത്രത്തിലാദ്യമായാണ് ഇത്രയധികം വിവാഹങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നത്. പുലർച്ചെ നാലിന് ആരംഭിച്ച വിവാഹങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 12.35 വരെ നീണ്ടു. ആറു മണ്ഡപങ്ങളിലായാണ് താലിക്കെട്ട് നടന്നത്. 100 പോലീസുകാർ, ദേവസ്വത്തിൻ്റെ 50 സെക്യൂരിറ്റി ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ, ദേവസ്വം ജീവനക്കാർ എന്നിവരുടെ സേവനം വലിയ രീതിയിൽ വിവാഹകർമങ്ങൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ സഹായമായി.  ക്രമീകരണങ്ങൾ എളുപ്പമാവാൻ ഗുരുവായൂർ നഗരസഭയുടെ സജീവ ഇടപെടലും ഉണ്ടായി.
