വയനാട് തോൽപ്പട്ടിയിൽ കെഎസ്ആർടിസി ബസിന് പിന്നാലെയോടി കുട്ടിയാന. തിരുനെല്ലി റോഡിലെ തെറ്റു റോഡ് കവലയ്ക്കു സമീപത്താണ് വ്യാഴാഴ്ച രാവിലെ ഏഴോടെ മൂന്നുമാസം പ്രായം തോന്നിക്കുന്ന കുട്ടിയാനയെ കണ്ടത്. പതിവായി കാട്ടാനയടക്കമുള്ള വന്യമൃ​ഗങ്ങളിറങ്ങറുള്ള മേഖലയാണിത്. കൂട്ടംതെറ്റിയെത്തിയതാവാമെന്നാണ് സംശയം. വാഹനങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലൂടെ കുട്ടിയാന കൃസൃതികാട്ടി പാഞ്ഞതോടെ കുറച്ചുനേരം ​ഗതാ​ഗതം തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടു. യാത്രക്കാർക്കും ഇത് കൗതുതകമായി. കുട്ടിയാന പിന്നീട് കാട് കയറി. ഉൾവനത്തിലേക്ക് നീങ്ങാത്തതിനാൽ  വനപാലകർ നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

In Short | In Wayanad, a baby elephant was spotted chasing a KSRTC bus near Tollpatti on the Thirunelli road junction early Thursday morning. The elephant, estimated to be around three months old, appeared to have strayed from its herd. The presence of this young elephant running between vehicles caused a brief traffic disruption, much to the curiosity of the travelers. Eventually, it retreated into the forest, but forest officials are monitoring it as it hasn't moved deeper into the forest.
