സെഞ്ചൂറിയന്: ഇന്ത്യ - ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്ക മൂന്നാം ടി20 മത്സരം തടസപ്പെടുത്തി പ്രാണികളുടെ അപ്രതീക്ഷിത 'ആക്രമണം'. സെഞ്ചൂറിയനിലെ സൂപ്പര് സ്പോര്ട് പാര്ക്ക് സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തില് നടന്ന മത്സരത്തില് ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കയുടെ ഇന്നിങ്സ് ആരംഭിച്ച ഉടനെയാണ് പ്രാണികള് ഗ്രൗണ്ടിലേക്കെത്തിയത്. ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കന് ബാറ്റര്മാരെയും ഇന്ത്യന് ഫീല്ഡര്മാരെയും പ്രാണികള് ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിച്ചു.
പിന്നാലെ രണ്ടാം ഓവര് എറിയാന് ഹാര്ദിക് പാണ്ഡ്യ എത്തിയപ്പോള് പ്രാണികള് കാരണം ഗ്രൗണ്ടില് നില്ക്കാനാകാത്ത സ്ഥിതിവന്നു. ഇതോടെ അമ്പയര്മാര് മത്സരം നിര്ത്തിവെയ്ക്കാന് തീരുമാനിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
ഒടുവില് ഗ്രൗണ്ട് സ്റ്റാഫ് മെഷീന് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പ്രാണികളെ നീക്കിയ ശേഷമാണ് മത്സരം പുനരാരംഭിച്ചത്. അരമണിക്കൂറോളം സമയമാണ് പ്രാണികള് കാരണം മത്സരം മുടങ്ങിയത്. മഴയുള്ള സമയങ്ങളില് സാധാരണ കണ്ടുവരുന്ന പ്രാണികളാണ് (flying ants) മത്സരം തടസപ്പെടുത്തിയത്.
