ജമ്മു: ജമ്മു-കശ്മീരിലെ പൂഞ്ച് ജില്ലയില് നിയന്ത്രണരേഖയില് (എല്.ഒ.സി.) ഇന്ത്യന് പോസ്റ്റുകള്ക്കുനേരേ ബുധനാഴ്ച പാകിസ്താന് സൈന്യം വെടിനിര്ത്തല് കരാര് ലംഘിച്ച് പ്രകോപനമില്ലാതെ വെടിയുതിര്ത്തതായി സുരക്ഷാവിഭാഗം ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര് അറിയിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യന്സൈന്യം ശക്തമായി തിരിച്ചടിച്ചെന്നും പാകിസ്താന് സൈന്യത്തിന് കനത്ത നാശനഷ്ടമുണ്ടായാതായും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
ജമ്മു ജില്ലയിലെ അഖ്നൂര് സെക്ടറില് നിയന്ത്രണരേഖയ്ക്ക് സമീപം ഭീകരര് നടത്തിയ സ്ഫോടനത്തില് ഒരു ക്യാപ്റ്റന് ഉള്പ്പെടെ രണ്ട് ഇന്ത്യന് സൈനികര് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടതിന് തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെയാണ് കൃഷ്ണഘാട്ടി സെക്ടറില് പാകിസ്താന് വെടിനിര്ത്തല് കരാര് ലംഘിച്ചത്.
2021 ഫെബ്രുവരി 25-ന് ഇന്ത്യയും പാകിസ്താനും വെടിനിര്ത്തല് കരാര് പുതുക്കിയതിനുശേഷം നിയന്ത്രണരേഖയില് വെടിനിര്ത്തല് ലംഘനം വളരെ അപൂര്വമാണ്.
