മൈസൂരു: കുളിമുറിയിലെ വാട്ടര്ഹീറ്ററില്നിന്നുണ്ടായ വാതകച്ചോര്ച്ചയില് സഹോദരികളായ രണ്ട് യുവതികള്ക്ക് ദാരുണാന്ത്യം. മൈസൂരുവില് ശനിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെയാണ് അപകടം. ഗുല്ഫം (23), സിമ്രാന് താജ് (20) എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. സഹോദരിമാര് ഒരുമിച്ച് കുളിമുറിയില് കയറിയതായിരുന്നു.
ഏറെ നേരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടും തിരിച്ചിറങ്ങാത്തത് ശ്രദ്ധയില്പ്പെട്ട യുവതികളുടെ പിതാവ് അല്ത്താഫ് വാതില് തള്ളിത്തുറന്ന് ഉള്ളില്ക്കയറി നോക്കിയപ്പോഴാണ് അപകടം പറ്റിയത് മനസ്സിലായത്.
സഹോദരിമാര് അബോധാവസ്ഥയില് വീണുകിടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഉടന് രണ്ടുപേരെയും ആശുപത്രിയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവന് രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല. വാട്ടര്ഹീറ്ററില്നിന്ന് വാതകം ചോര്ന്നെങ്കിലും തീപടര്ന്നില്ല. പക്ഷേ, ഇത് ശ്വസിച്ച് യുവതികള് ശ്വാസംമുട്ടി മരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നെന്ന് കരുതുന്നു. മൈസൂരു പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്തു.
