വടകര: പോലീസ് കുറ്റപത്രം സമർപ്പിക്കാത്തതിനാൽ ബിആർസി അധ്യാപികമാർ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട എംഡിഎംഎ സാമ്പത്തിക ഇടപാട് കേസിൽ അഞ്ചാം പ്രതിക്കും ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചു. ഇരിട്ടി സ്വദേശിയും ഡെലിവറി ബോയിയുമായിരുന്ന ജിജിൻ കുര്യാക്കോസിനാണ് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചത്.
60 ദിവസം ജുഡീഷ്യൽ കസ്റ്റഡിയിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞതിനാൽ വടകര എൻഡിപിഎസ് കോടതി ജഡ്ജി അന്യാസ് തയ്യിൽ ജാമ്യം അനുവദിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. കേസിന്റെ അന്വേഷണം പൂർത്തിയാകാത്തതിനാൽ പോലീസ് ഇതേവരെ കുറ്റപത്രം സമർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഇതിൽ മുഖ്യപ്രതിയെ ഇനിയും കണ്ടെത്താനുണ്ട്.
ഈ കേസിൽ ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചെങ്കിലും പയ്യോളി പോലീസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത മറ്റൊരു മയക്ക് മരുന്ന് സാമ്പത്തിക ഇടപാട് കേസിൽ പ്രതി ജുഡീഷ്യൽ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലാണുള്ളത്. ഈ കേസിലും ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചാൽ മാത്രമേ പ്രതിക്ക് ജയിലിൽനിന്ന് പുറത്തിറങ്ങാൻ സാധിക്കൂ. ഇതോടെ വടകരയിലെ എംഡിഎംഎ കേസിൽ അറസ്റ്റിലായ മുഴുവൻ പ്രതികൾക്കും ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചു.
