Content Highlights: Crime Branch made the first arrest in the PSC exam scam, detaining former Deputy Secretary P. Satheesh, who, along with another official, was named in the charge sheet. The court criticized the PSC and government for delays in action, questioning why no decisive steps were taken despite no legal barriers to the investigation. Satheesh and the co-accused claimed the issue was a technical error, not fraud, but Crime Branch found evidence of their involvement in the misconduct.
