Justice Edappagath, who considered the bail application, noted that the applicant is a serving judicial officer unlikely to evade legal proceedings, leading to the court's order preventing police arrest until further notice. The court instructed the judge to appear before the investigating officer and comply with Supreme Court guidelines during questioning.
