Content Highlights: Screenings of Vijay's latest movie Jananayakan were disrupted across various Chennai theaters after families arrived with children for the 'A' certified film. At the Ampa Mall PVR Cinemas, police intervened ten minutes into the morning show and temporarily halted the screening due to the violation of censor rules. Theater management eventually resumed the show after offering ticket refunds and asking families with minors under 18 years of age to leave. Similar delays and strict age-check enforcement were reported from other multiplexes like PVR Grand Mall, drawing widespread attention on social media. Directed by H. Vinoth and released on July 23, Jananayakan is scheduled as Vijay's final film appearance before he transitions fully into active politics
