
കോഴിക്കോട്: പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്രമോദിയെ അധിക്ഷേപിച്ച കേസിൽ മേക്കപ്പ് ആർട്ടിസ്റ്റ് ജാൻമണി ദാസിനെ കോഴിക്കോട് സിറ്റി സൈബർ പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റുചെയ്തു. നോട്ടീസ് നൽകിയശേഷം ജാൻമണിയെ വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.
ജാമ്യം ലഭിക്കാവുന്ന കുറ്റമായതിനാൽ അറസ്റ്റ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശേഷം ഇവരെ വിട്ടയച്ചു. മഹിളാ മോർച്ച നൽകിയ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലായിരുന്നു പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്തത്. മഹിളാ മോർച്ച സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷ നവ്യ ഹരിദാസ് കോഴിക്കോട് സിറ്റി പോലീസ് കമ്മിഷണർക്ക് നൽകിയ പരാതിയെത്തുടർന്നായിരുന്നു നടപടി.
സാമൂഹികമാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കുവെച്ച വീഡിയോയിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിക്കെതിരെ മോശം പരാമർശങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയെന്നാണ് ജാൻമണിക്കെതിരെയുള്ള ആരോപണം. ബി.എൻ.എസ്. 192, 356 (2), കേരള പോലീസ് ആക്ട് എന്നീ വകുപ്പുകൾ പ്രകാരമാണ് കേസ്. സമൂഹത്തിൽ ലഹളയുണ്ടാക്കണമെന്നും സമാധാനം തകർക്കണമെന്നുമുള്ള ഉദ്ദേശത്തോടെ അപകീർത്തികരമായ വീഡിയോ പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നാണ് എഫ്.ഐ.ആറിലുള്ളത്.
സംഭവം വിവാദമായതോടെ വിശദീകരണവുമായി ജാൻമണി രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരുന്നു. തനിക്ക് മലയാളം നന്നായി അറിയില്ലെന്നും ഭാഷാ പ്രയോഗത്തിൽ സംഭവിച്ച പിഴവാണെന്നുമാണ് ജാൻമണി പറയുന്നത്. തനിക്ക് തെറ്റുപറ്റിയെന്നും എല്ലാവരോടും മാപ്പ് ചോദിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും കാണിച്ച് മറ്റൊരു വീഡിയോയും ജാൻമണി പങ്കുവെച്ചിരുന്നു.

Despite the apology, the police proceeded with the arrest as Mahila Morcha announced plans to file complaints across all police stations in the state.
