തിരുവനന്തപുരം: മോട്ടോര്‍ വാഹന വകുപ്പിന്റെ ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ സ്‌ക്രീന്‍ തത്കാലത്തേക്ക് പിന്‍വലിച്ചു. വാഹനങ്ങളിലെ കൂളിങ് ഫിലിം, കര്‍ട്ടണ്‍ എന്നിവ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നതാണ് നിര്‍ത്തിവച്ചത്. ഗതാഗത കമ്മീഷണറുടേതാണ് ഉത്തരവ്. എന്നാൽ, പതിവ് വാഹനപരിശോധന തുടരും.
വാഹന ഉടമകള്‍ നിയമം പാലിക്കണമെന്ന് ഗതാഗത കമ്മീഷണര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ ഗ്ലാസുകളില്‍ നിയമാനുസൃതമല്ലാതെ കൂളിങ് പേപ്പറുകള്‍ പതിക്കുന്നതും കര്‍ട്ടനുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതും തടയാന്‍ മോട്ടോര്‍ വാഹനവകുപ്പ് ഞായറാഴ്ച മുതലാണ് പരിശോധന ആരംഭിച്ചത്. സുപ്രീംകോടതി ഇവയുടെ ഉപയോഗം നിരോധിച്ചിരുന്നു.
ഗ്ലാസുകളില്‍ സ്റ്റിക്കറുകളും പതിക്കാന്‍ പാടില്ല. കാറുകളില്‍ ഫാക്ടറി നിര്‍മിത ടിന്റഡ്‌ ഗ്ലാസ് മാത്രമായിരുന്നു അനുവദനീയം.
