തിരുവനന്തപുരം: കഴിഞ്ഞ അധ്യയനവർഷം സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ സ്കൂളുകളിൽ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകിടന്നത് അരലക്ഷത്തിലേറെ പ്ലസ് വൺ സീറ്റുകൾ. മെറിറ്റ് സീറ്റുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെയാണിത്.
മെറിറ്റ് വിഭാഗത്തിൽ മൊത്തം 19,758 സീറ്റാണ് ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകിടന്നത്. കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലാണ് ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ഒഴിവ്-2339. പത്തനംതിട്ട-2275, ആലപ്പുഴ-2099, കോട്ടയം-1928 എന്നിങ്ങനെയും.
മാനേജ്‌മെന്റ് സീറ്റുകളിൽ മൊത്തം 4323 സീറ്റുകളുടെ ഒഴിവുണ്ടായി. അൺ എയ്ഡഡ് സ്കൂളിലാവട്ടെ 28,128 സീറ്റ് ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകിടന്നു. മെറിറ്റിലുള്ള 19,758 സീറ്റ് ഉൾപ്പെടെ കൂട്ടുമ്പോൾ മൊത്തം 52,209 സീറ്റിൽ ഒഴിവുവന്നു.
പ്ലസ് വൺ പ്രവേശനത്തിനായി മൊത്തം 4,79,749 അപേക്ഷ ലഭിച്ചു. ഇതിൽ മെറിറ്റ് സീറ്റിൽ 3,03,345 പേർ, മാനേജ്‌മെന്റ്-34,635 പേർ, അൺ എയ്ഡഡ്-25,527 പേർ എന്നിങ്ങനെ പ്രവേശനം ലഭിച്ചു. മൊത്തം 3,63,507 വിദ്യാർഥികൾ പ്ലസ് വൺ പ്രവേശനം നേടി.
