The Peaceful Pond and the Magic Pebble. Read a bedtime story...

In a quiet house by a large pond, there lived a little frog named Pachans. While all the other frogs loved to croak loudly at night, Pachans loved to collect colorful pebbles that washed up on the shore.

One evening, he found a pebble that glowed as bright as a firefly. He decided to take it to the oldest turtle in the pond, Muthassan, to show him the treasure. Along the way, Pachans hopped over lily pads and ducked under large lotus leaves.

When he reached the big rock where Muthassan rested, the old turtle smiled. "This isn't just a stone, Pachans," he whispered. "It’s a Piece of the Stars. If you keep it safe, it will bring sweet dreams to everyone in the pond."

Pachans placed the glowing stone on a high leaf in the center of the water. As the light spread, the ripples turned silver, and a calm silence fell over the village. Pachans curled up on his favorite leaf, feeling proud and very sleepy, as the whole pond drifted into a peaceful slumber.
