കൊച്ചി: ഇന്ത്യൻ സിനിമയുടെ ബോക്‌സ് ഓഫീസ് കളക്‌ഷനിൽ മികച്ച മുന്നേറ്റവുമായി മലയാള സിനിമ. ഈ വർഷത്തെ, ആദ്യ അഞ്ചുമാസം മലയാളത്തിന്റെ വിഹിതം 10 ശതമാനത്തിലേറെയാണ്. മുൻവർഷങ്ങളിൽ പത്തിൽത്താഴെയായിരുന്നു.
43 ശതമാനവുമായി ഹിന്ദി സിനിമ ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനത്ത് നിൽക്കുമ്പോൾ 17 ശതമാനവുമായി തെലുങ്ക് സിനിമ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്തും 13 ശതമാനവുമായി തമിഴ് സിനിമ മൂന്നാംസ്ഥാനത്തുമുണ്ട്. അഞ്ചുമാസത്തിനിടെ 1277 കോടിയുമായി ഹിന്ദി സിനിമ ‘ധുരന്ധർ’ ആണ് കളക്‌ഷനിൽ ഒന്നാമത്.
141 കോടിയുമായി ‘വാഴ 2’ ഏഴാമതും 133 കോടിയുമായി ‘ദൃശ്യം 3’ എട്ടാമതുമാണ്. മേയിലെമാത്രം കണക്കിൽ 229 കോടിയുമായി തമിഴ് സിനിമ ‘കറുപ്പ്’ ഒന്നാംസ്ഥാനത്തും 133 കോടിയുള്ള ‘ദൃശ്യം’ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്തുമാണ്. 44 കോടിയുമായി ‘അതിരടി’യും 37 കോടിയുമായി ‘പാട്രിയറ്റും’ ഒൻപതും പത്തും സ്ഥാനത്തുണ്ട്.
