'റിസ്‌ക്കാണ്, കാണുമ്പോള്‍ തന്നെ പേടിയാകും'; അത്ര സിംപിളല്ല പാണ്ടിച്ചെത്ത്, കള്ള് വരുന്ന കഥയറിയാം

കേരളത്തിലെ മിക്ക ജില്ലകളിലേക്കും കള്ള് എത്തുന്നത് പാലക്കാട് ചീറ്റൂരില്‍ നിന്നാണ്. രണ്ടു തരം ചെത്തുകളാണുള്ളത്, ചെളിചെത്തും പാണ്ടിച്ചെത്തും. മൂന്നുനേരം ചെത്തേണ്ട ചെളിച്ചെത്ത് മലയാളികളാണ് കൂടുതലും ചെയ്യാറ്. രാവിലെയും വൈകിട്ടും രണ്ടുനേരം ചെത്തുന്ന പാണ്ടിച്ചെത്താണ് ചിറ്റൂരില്‍ വ്യാപകം. 

In Short: Most of the toddy distributed across Kerala comes from Chittur in Palakkad. Two major types are produced — Chellichethu, usually processed three times daily by Malayali workers, and Pandichethu, which is tapped twice a day and is more commonly found in Chittur.
