കെ ബാലചന്ദറിന്റെ സിനിമയിൽ അരങ്ങേറ്റം, ഓർമയായത് ചിരഞ്ജീവി വിജയ ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ നിർമാതാവ്

മുതിർന്ന തെലുങ്ക് നടനും നിർമാതാവുമായ ജി.വി. നാരായണ റാവു (73) അന്തരിച്ചു. ഹൃദയാഘാതത്തെ തുടർന്ന് ഹൈദരാബാദിലായിരുന്നു അന്ത്യം.

1976-ൽ പ്രശസ്ത സംവിധായകൻ കെ. ബാലചന്ദർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത 'അന്തൂലേനി കഥ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് നാരായണ റാവു അഭിനയരംഗത്തേക്ക് എത്തുന്നത്. അരങ്ങേറ്റ ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് മികച്ച സഹനടനുള്ള നന്ദി പുരസ്‌കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് അഞ്ചു പതിറ്റാണ്ടോളം നീണ്ട സിനിമാ ജീവിതത്തിൽ നൂറോളം ചിത്രങ്ങളിലും നിരവധി ടെലിവിഷൻ പരമ്പരകളിലും അഭിനയിച്ചു.

അഭിനേതാവ് എന്നതിനു പുറമെ നിരവധി വിജയ ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ നിർമാതാവു കൂടിയായിരുന്നു നാരായണ റാവു. ചിരഞ്ജീവിയെ നായകനാക്കി നിർമിച്ച 'ദേവാന്തകുടു', 'യമുഡികി മൊഗുഡൂ' തുടങ്ങിയ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ വൻ വിജയമായിരുന്നു.

നാരായണ റാവുവിന്റെ നിര്യാണത്തിൽ നടൻ ചിരഞ്ജീവി ഉൾപ്പെടെ തെലുങ്ക് സിനിമാ ലോകത്തെ പ്രമുഖർ അനുശോചനം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. തെലുങ്ക് ഫിലിം പ്രൊഡ്യൂസേഴ്‌സ് കൗൺസിലും അനുശോചനം അറിയിച്ചു.
