നടൻ സുനീൽ ആനന്ദ് അന്തരിച്ചു; ഇതിഹാസ താരം ദേവ് ആനന്ദിന്റെ മകൻ

ഇതിഹാസ ബോളിവുഡ് താരം ദേവ് ആനന്ദിന്റെ മകനും നടനുമായ സുനീൽ ആനന്ദ് (70) അന്തരിച്ചു. ലണ്ടനിൽ ഹൃദയാഘാതത്തെ തുടർന്നായിരുന്നു അന്ത്യം. ദേവ് ആനന്ദിന്റെ പേരക്കുട്ടിയും സുനിൽ ആനന്ദിന്റെ സഹോദരീപുത്രിയുമായ ജീന നാരംഗ് ആണ് വിയോഗവാർത്ത സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്.

ദേവ് ആനന്ദിന്റെയും പ്രശസ്ത നടി കൽപനാ കാർത്തിക്കിന്റെയും മകനായി സ്വിറ്റ്സർലൻഡിലെ സൂറിച്ചിലാണ് സുനിൽ ആനന്ദ് ജനിച്ചത്. അമേരിക്കയിൽ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം 1984-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ 'ആനന്ദ് ഓർ ആനന്ദ്' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ അച്ഛൻ ദേവ് ആനന്ദിനൊപ്പം ബോളിവുഡിൽ അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ചു. ചിത്രം ബോക്സ് ഓഫീസിൽ പരാജയപ്പെട്ടു.

'കാർ തീഫ്', മീനാക്ഷി ശേഷാദ്രിക്കൊപ്പം 'മേം തേരേ ലിയേ' എന്നീ ചിത്രങ്ങളിലും അഭിനയിച്ചെങ്കിലും വിജയം കണ്ടെത്താൻ സാധിച്ചില്ല. പിന്നീട് അഭിനയരംഗത്തുനിന്ന് പിന്മാറി. പിന്നീട് മുംബൈയിൽ പിതാവ് സ്ഥാപിച്ച 'നവ്കേതൻ ഫിലിംസ്' നിർമാണക്കമ്പനി ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് നടത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.

ഹിന്ദി സിനിമയിലെ എക്കാലത്തെയും മികച്ച താരങ്ങളിൽ ഒരാളായ ദേവ് ആനന്ദ് 2011-ൽ 88-ാം വയസ്സിലാണ് അന്തരിച്ചത്.
