മണ്ണിൽ പുതഞ്ഞ, കൊടുംവിഷം മുറ്റിയ
നിന്നെ,യോർക്കാതെ ചവിട്ടി ഞാൻ-എങ്കിലും,
ഒന്നുനീ കാത്തുകിടക്കുമോ പ്രേമമേ, 
എന്നെയീ വേദന തിന്നുതീർക്കുംവരെ?
