Col.Rajeev Mannali is an Army Veteran who chose to enter the healthcare field post his superannuation from the Army. He remains grateful to providence for the opportunity to help, save lives after having received training to take lives as part of the requirement to join and be in the Army for close to 34 years.
He was MD and CEO of Indo American Hospital, a 205 bedded 'Brain & Spine' centre in the remote locality at Chemmanakary in Vaikom and earned his spurs as a hospital Administrator. During this period he chose to be a founder member of Association of National Board accredited Institutions (ANBAI) and Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) and was Vice president of Kerala Chapters of both the Institutions. Both these Associations are performing their intended roles to great accolades and appreciation .
In 2013, he joined Sree Narayana Hospital & Research centre at Vellore as CEO and continued to be there for two years before joining CMC Vellore as the Head of the Chittoor complex of CMC. During his stay at Vellore he was Vice President of AHPI, Tamil Nadu chapter and in collaboration with the Govt of TN initiated novel method to effect NABH accreditation of smaller hospitals. During this period it was possible to facilitate accreditation of over 100 small and medium hospitals in TN. He was involved in speaking assignments on healthcare related issues and was actively involved with IMA and other professional bodies in the state.
He returned to Cochin in 2017 to take over as the Executive Director of Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, one of the premier private medical college in Kerala. He has contributed immensely to the overall development of the college and grooming of the students.
He is currently the Chief Administrative Officer of BR Life SUT Super Specialty Hospital, Pattom Thiruvananthapuram. He has been awarded for excellence in Health Care Management by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, 'Kalakaumudi Arogyam' and 'Rising Trivandrum'. He is a prolific reader and writer and remains actively engaged with social, literacy and charitable institution.
