No prior permission for probe against CM and Home Minister

Thiruvananthapuram: Vigilance and Anti-Corruption court in its order to continue with the investigation against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala observed there need no prior permission for investigation against the two in the Titanium case. More details of the court order have come out. Court said that the decision to set up the proposed effluent treatment plant was conducted discarding the Technical Committee report and research. With the project abandoned government was forced to admit that the decision taken by the Titanium board and Public Service undertaking board’s decision were wrong, court observed.
