Yuva Morcha march turns violent

Thiruvananthapuram: The march taken out byYuva Morcha activists to Secretariat demanding the resignation of Education Minister PK Abdu Rabb over the irregularities in the allocation of plus two batches turned violent on Monday. Police used water cannon and lathicharge to disperse the violent crowd. Police have taken four members including District President Ratheesh, who scaled the walls of Secretariat, to custody. BJP District leaders aborted the attempt of some handful Yuva Morcha activists to take another protest march after the lathicharge.
