Kozhikode: The row between Calicut VC and Syndicate members have taken a new turn with 11 syndicate members along with MLAs will meet Chief Minister and give complaint against VC on Wednesday. The members blames VC for creating a war-like atmosphere in the University. They demand an action against VC in preventing him from breaking service rules regarding pay fixation and protection of the teachers, to stop him from buying a server for Rs 62 lakhs while it originally costs only Rs 52 lakhs and revoke action initiated against the teachers including the HoD of English, Dr Umar Thasneem. Meanwhile, VC has alleged corruption against League-Congress members in the minute document of the meeting.
