District administration intervenes to relocate NCC camp

Kozhikode: In a ‘Mathrubhumi News’ impact the district administration intervened after it was reported that the NCC camp was being conducted in a totally uninhabitable environment in suburban Mavoor. Teams headed by the Tehsildar and then the ADM visited the site and instructed that the NCC cadets be expressly relocated to a more comfortable lodging in a better atmosphere from the unhygienic accommodation provided for the cadets in the dilapidated buildings in the Gwaliyor Rayons campus. After the news hit the headlines, Human Rights Commission Member K E Gangadharan took cognisance of the issue and advised appropriate action.
