Disciplined CPI leaders defiant: @Big Debate

Both Venjaramoodu Sasi and Adv P Ramachandran Nair vociferously protested the disciplinary action taken against them. Sasi went to the extent of castigating Pannyan as a ‘Puppet’ secretary, also wanted him to own up the responsibility of suggesting Bennett Abraham’s candidature and wanted Pannyan to step down from the post of secretary. State secretariat and council is also morally bound to resign. Nair has said that he will approach the control commission, even as former Minister C Divakaran refused any open comment. Did money change hands, which the investigation team failed to unearth? News@9 hosts CPI’s Kanam Rajendran & Sasi and ‘Mathrubhumi’ News Editor B Ramesh Kumar.
