Chennai: With a recent report alarming the high presence of antibiotics in chickens which would lead humans immune to antibiotics; Mathrubhumi Investigation proves that a large contingent of antibiotics is injected into the chickens in the Tamil Nadu poultry farms to raise weight and growth of the birds. The 70% of chicken and 90% of egg is coming to Kerala from these poultry farms in Nammakkal, Tirupur and Coimbatore districts of Tamil Nadu.
