CPI (M)’s palliative mission to win hearts of people

Kannur: When at a time CPI (M) in the state is drawing criticisms for their violent politics, the Kannur party has come with a new initiative to reach out to the public. As part of lending care and kindness to the ailing patients in the district, Kannur CPI (M) has decided to dedicate the Martyrs day and Death Anniversary days as Palliative Care Day from now on. The Palliative Care Mission of the party will begin on P Krishna Pillai day on August 19. This day, for over 2000 volunteers of Initiative of Rehabilitation and Palliative Care (IRPC) would visit the houses of ailing patients and will lend help those in need. The party will also build Palliative Care Centre to give the care to those in need permanently.
