Ethnic wear exhibition during Ramadan festive season

Kozhikode: A 2-day long exhibition and sale of ethnic wear by women for women is gathering a discerning crowd in the festive wake of the final shopping during the holy month of Ramdan at the Chamber of Commerce Hall here. The exhibition displays a wide array of North Indian attire like Benares fancy sarees, Lakhnavi Sarees & Kurtis with fusion, Chikan, jute net sarees, pure silk and dress materials starting from re. 500 onwards. The spread includes western outfits, bed sheets and hand-made paper jewellery. For the bargain-huntress discounted sarees too are on offer. The organisers, including the daughter-mother duo of Reeshma and Rupa plan to take it to Kannur next.
