KGMOA to go on 'non-cooperation' strike from Monday

Thiruvananthapuram: Government doctors across the state will go on 'non-cooperation' strike from Monday on wards against the recent government decision to step-up General Hospitals to that of Medical Colleges. Kerala Government Medical Officers Association (KGMOA) said that the decision to post specialist doctors on deputation in these MC's will topple the health care system of the state. The doctors also demands for an improvement in the infrastructure facilities and find solution to the drug shortage in the state. Meanwhile, Government has declared 'dies non' to those participating in the strike.
