Film Regulatory Authority to control movies

New Delhi: The Film Regulatory Authority will be formulated to end the unhealthy tendencies in the film industry. The State government accepted the recommendations put forth by the committee which also includes Adoor Gopalakrishnan. The committee recommends lowering the number of movies for the selection of state film awards. A new law will replace the 1956 Regulatory law. The Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan said that all recommendations including classification of theaters as per their amenities will also put forth.
