Thiruvananthapuram: The government decided for a 20% increase in seats for Plus One in all higher secondary schools in the state. An order has been issued after reinstating last year’s seat increase. The seat was increased due to late announcement of more batches. There was confusion in cabinet in the allotment of extra batches. At this point the High Court ordered to take immediate action regarding this. The Director of Public Instructions has issued orders to increase 20% seats in all higher secondary schools in the state. With this increase ten extra students will get admission for Plus one.
