Pambakkuda, the first Panchayath to go digital

Kochi: Pambakkuda Village Panchayath here has become the first panchayath in the state to go complete digital. With the help of software called E-gram developed by a private company in corporation with Holy Kings Engineering College, the complete details of 14,000 villagers were digitally archived. With this every detail of these people is only a click away. The authorities have completed the digitalization project in a record time of one and a half years. Hundreds of Asha workers have spent days and weeks in collecting information making this mission a success. Authorities believe that the digitalization will narrow down the gap between panchayth and people.
