Slighted Singh mulls quitting: @Big Debate
Transport Commissioner Rishiraj Singh is to extend his leave by a month in protest over Transport minister Thiruvanchoor retracting the circular making the Nils Bohlin invention of the modern 3-point lap & shoulder seat belt mandatory in rear seats also. Cong MLA Sivadasan Nair had even imputed motives to Singh, accusing him of lusting after media glare. Meanwhile, union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said a law will be passed making wearing of seat belts by all passengers mandatory.
