Woman’s body found tied in sack

Palakkad: A woman’s dead body was found on the side of NH near Chithali in Kuzhalmannam. The body was at least four days old and was found tied in two sacks. The body was in decayed state. Old clothes were also found in the sack along with the woman’s body. The police came to the area when natives informed them. The body has been transferred to Thrissur Medical College for postmortem. The investigation is progressing under Alathoor ASP K. Karthik IPS.
