Youth Commission against job exploitation

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Youth Commission asked to amend the Shops and Establishment law in state. This was on the wake of sitting conducted in Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram and inspecting various shops in different places. Commission Chairman R V Rajesh alleged that people are brought from other states and are made to do slavery. Complaints came from various quarters that employees were not given enough salary and basic amenities for their day to day chores. The employees were not willing to give a written complaint regarding their sufferings to the commission out of fear.
