IUML blames 'secret agenda' against orphanages

Kozhikode: Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has come strongly against Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala's remark on 'child trafficking'. Senior leader E T Muhammed Basheer has blamed that there has been some 'vested interest agenda' working against the orphanages in the state. However, Youth League also criticised Ramesh for mouthing these kinds of venomous opinion earlier with the intention of creating a communal polarisation. The League Samithy convened on Monday also said that the party leadership has failed in giving a due reply to home minister's remark. They also blamed Human Rights Commission nodal officer S Sreejith for some vested interest in the issue.
