Engineering fee hiked to Rs 75,000 in govt seats

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala government and Engineering Management have come to a conclusion to unify the fees structure by increasing fees to all seats. As per the decision the fees including to government seats have been increased to Rs 75,000. The govt also has decided to give nod to the process of giving Rs 10,000 by a student a year to the management in place of caution deposit. In the 25 percent govt seats Rs 25,000 will be given to those students belonging to economically back ward community. The fees to NRI seats have also increased to Rs One and a half lakh.
