Cross-border ties come alive again? @ Big Debate

Narendra Modi had met with the SAARC leaders in Hyderbad House in Delhi and the much anticipated meeting with Pak Prime Minister took place in the afternoon. Modi, however, raised the issue of cross-border terrorism emanating from Pak soil and the slow pace of trial in the Mumbai attacks. Both of the leaders have also agreed to resume the stalled secretarial discussions in the future and opening the trade links. Sharif, after the meeting said that the two countries should overcome should overcome the legacy of mistrust and should work together in achieving common objectives for peace and development.
