CPI(M) not to appoint special inquiry commission

Thiruvananthapuram: CPI (M) state secretariat has decided not to appoint a special commission to inquire into the failures of party candidates in the Lok Sabha election. But has given directives to the concerned district committees to inquire into the failures and vote leakages in the respective constituencies. It is only after the district meetings to be conducted from May 30 to June 5 that the state committee will decide upon appointing a special commission to inquire to the failures. Meanwhile, the state council of CPI witnessed vehement criticism from its members for the party’s failure in Thiruvanathapuram and Mavelikara. The demand for reconstitution of State council was also raised during the meeting.
