Govt to slap load-shedding in state

Thiruvananthapuram: The government slapped load shedding in State due to technical work in Sabarigiri power plant. The curb will be in alternate days in southern and northern districts of Kerala. The power curbing will continue till May 31st. The load shedding will be imposed during evening hours from. 6.30-10.30. There will be no power production from Sabarigiri from Thursday onwards and this will cause a lack of 350 mg wt in state per day. Apart from this Kerala lack 200 mg wt of power share from state due to technical work in Ramakundam and Kudankulam power plants. At this juncture, government was forced to impose power cut in state.
