Security beefed up in Vadakara on eve of counting day
Kozhikode: Security has beefed up in Vadakara and Kozhikode based on an intelligence report prior to the counting day on Friday. Prohibitory orders will be clamped in Vadakara and Nadapuram sub divisions with the district administration deploying 2000 police officers. Picketing posts will also be put in place in the district borders and surveillance cameras were also installed. SP P S Ashraf and ASP Yatheesh Chandra are in charge of the security arrangements.
