Collector issues stop memo against Tata’s toll collection
Munnar: The district Collector issued stop memo against Tata’s illegal toll collection in the Kannan Devan Hills village. The stop memo was issued as Tata was collecting toll in government road. The action has been taken as per the report of Devikulam Thahasildar. The company has been illegally collecting road toll which was constructed amidst Tata estate. The Collector took action following Mathrubhumi News news. The toll collection was between Rs. 40 to Rs. 150. Earlier it was only for Lorries but now it has been imposed to all vehicles. The estate officials claimed that it was estate’s road by revenue authorities found that it was governments.
