No legal issue in closing 418 bars :Justice Ramachandran

Kochi: At a time KPCC president drawing flakes from all corners for his stand on Bar license issue, Justice M Ramachandran has come in-support with the latter's stand on the issue. He said to Mathrubhumi News that there is no legal bottle-neck in banning the 418 below par bars. They should be given prior notice and time to do so, he said. He also criticised chief minister Oomen Chandy for being lowered himself as a spokesperson for a minority of tipplers in the state. However, Sudheeran has come open against bar employees saying that they are conducting strikes and protest in favour of the bar owners. Ramesh Chenithala too commented on the topic that they are striving for consensus on the topic.
