Discussion to continue over bar license renewal
Thiruvananthapuram: Uncertainty prevails over bar license renewal within Congress. Though the party tried to form consensus before the UDF meeting, it failed. The Congress leadership will discuss the issue again tomorrow. KPCC President V M Sudheeran informed media after discussion that there is no new progress in the bar license issue. The government is on the stand that license should be renewed for 418 bars. Tomorrow the discussion will continue on this between Home Minister, Chief Minister and KPCC President. Meanwhile Excise Minister K Babu said that he will consider the opinion of Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. He clarified that the issue will be sort out after discussing with all leaders.
